nEUlakes is a participatory network for social, cultural, environmental and economic development of European lakes.
History
The project idea was born after a successful cooperation between the municipality of Iseo and some of the other partners, which every year since 2010 realised in Iseo a cultural event called “Festival dei Laghi”.
Association
nEUlakes brings together citizens from different European countries to share experiences and discuss innovative ideas within the framework of European integration and of the EU strategy for sustainable and inclusive growth.
Mission
The general aim is to establish a structured cooperation among European citizens to exchange best practices and discuss innovative ideas on how to valorise their lakes.
New challenges, new partners, more success for all
nEUlakes intends to establish long-lasting cooperation between municipalities, associations, and other institutions from several European countries on the valorisation of lakes with a holistic approach.
